When it comes to this weekend’s Arkansas-LSU game, ESPN analyst Tom Luginbill already sees an advantage for the Razorbacks.
Luginbill: I think Arkansas can have more success throwing the ball in the middle of the field against LSU than Alabama.

Luginbill: I think Arkansas has the advantage of the confidence of their quarterback when they have to put the ball in the air.

Luginbill, who will be the sideline reporter for the ESPN broadcast of the game, made those comments on Bo Mattingly’s radio show. The No. 24 Tigers (5-3, 3-2) and No. 25 Arkansas (6-3, 2-3) kick off at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday in Fayetteville.
When comparing the quarterbacks from both teams, it’s not hard to see how Luginbill reached this conclusion.
Austin Allen had been a threat for the Razorbacks’ offense, completing 61.8 percent of his throws for 19 touchdowns and just eight interceptions. His 254.6 yards per game is third-best in the SEC.
Danny Etling, meanwhile, hasn’t done much to improve LSU’s sluggish passing offense, which ranks 110th nationally. The junior has tossed seven touchdowns and four interceptions in seven games, totaling a meager 174.4 yards per game.
