If the first location for ESPN’s College GameDay was supposed to be a secret, former Wisconsin coach Barry Alvarez may have let the cat out of the bag.
The Badgers athletic director recently told ESPN Milwaukee that it’s his understanding that the Week 1 game between LSU and Wisconsin at Lambeau Field will be the first destination for ESPN’s College GameDay.
"I don't think they've announced it, but I think they'll have @CollegeGameDay there" – Barry Alvarez, on @BadgerFootball's game at Lambeau

College GameDay has not officially revealed its first stop for the 2016 season, but this one makes a lot of sense.
The Tigers and Badgers will square off at one of the sport’s most hallowed locations in a rare college football contest at the home of the Green Bay Packers.
LSU beat the Bagers 27-7 in 2014 during a neutral site game in Houston.
The Tigers hold a 3-0 record in the all-time series.
