ESPN drops new anthem for 2025 college football season featuring Luke Combs and Bailey Zimmerman

ESPN is starting to gear up for what promises to be another incredible season in the SEC in 2025. All the teams in the conference are in Atlanta this week at the SEC Media Days, which is being aired all over the SEC Network.

Fans right now are getting ready to watch their favorite players and coaches talk about the upcoming season, as well as many other things going on in the sport. ESPN is doing its best to start getting fans excited with many different hype up videos as we near the start of the season.

On Monday, the network dropped a new anthem to get the fans in the SEC excited, and it had some help from country music stars Luke Combs and Bailey Zimmerman’s new song, Backup Plan.

Combs is no stranger to ESPN and the college football season, as his music has been prominent with the sport over the past few seasons. He has also been on College GameDay as a guest picker, and his love for college football is no secret. The season is just over a month away, but fans all across the country are excited and hopeful that this season could be a special year for their team.
