To anyone that follows SEC football through the scope of The Paul Finebaum Show, “Phyllis from Mulga” is a recognizable name.
But there is a story behind that loud, opinionated Alabama fan that you may not know.
ESPN shared that story with a nice feature piece recently:
Earlier this month, we wrote something on Phyllis’ situation and her husband’s struggle with lung cancer.
It is great to see that SEC fans, Alabama or not, opened up their hearts to a fellow SEC football lover in her time of need.
