The College Football Playoff rankings will be unveiled Tuesday night, and most everybody’s top four will be in the top four.
Alabama, LSU, Ohio State and Clemson are what 99 percent of analysts predict will be the top four.
During Week 10, Alabama, LSU, Ohio State and Penn State all had bye weeks. Georgia defeated Florida in the Cocktail Party 24-17 behind a brilliant showing from Jake Fromm in the passing game. Fromm threw for two touchdowns and iced the game on a beautiful 3rd and 7 play to tight end Eli Wolf late in the fourth quarter.
ESPN’s Football Power Index is described as the following on its website:
The Football Power Index (FPI) is a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team’s performance going forward for the rest of the season. FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule. Ratings and projections update daily.
