ESPN’s FPI ranks 10 SEC teams in preseason top 25

The AP Top 25 comes out in two weeks, and the official preseason top 25 teams will be released.

Five-to-six SEC teams may be ranked in the AP Top 25; however, ESPN’s Football Power Index ranks an amazing 10 SEC teams in the top 25, including five in the top 10.

Alabama is the highest ranked team at No. 2, while Georgia (3) and LSU (4) are both in the top four. Texas A&M (11) and Tennessee (15) are both ranked in the top 15. Mississippi State, South Carolina and Missouri round out the SEC in the top 25.
