The Georgia Bulldogs enter the 2020 season with lofty expectations. Many expect Kirby Smart’s squad to again compete for an SEC East title and even a spot in the College Football Playoff.

So, what does ESPN’s Football Power Index think of the Bulldogs’ chances this year? Well, the FPI only gives Georgia a 2.4% chance of winning out and a 27% chance to win the SEC title.

On a week-by-week basis, here’s what chance the FPI gives the Dawgs to win each regular season game:

  • Sept. 26: @ Arkansas — 91.2% win probability
  • Oct. 3: vs. Auburn — 66.4% win probability
  • Oct. 10: vs. Tennessee — 91.2% win probability
  • Oct. 17: @ Alabama — 27.5% win probability
  • Oct. 24: @ Kentucky — 82.6% win probability
  • Nov. 7: vs. Florida (in Jacksonville) — 62.7% win probability
  • Nov. 14: @ Mizzou — 88.8% win probability
  • Nov. 21: vs. Mississippi State — 96.5% win probability
  • Nov. 28: @ South Carolina — 85.2% win probability
  • Dec. 5: vs. Vanderbilt — 98.3% win probability

Will the Dawgs go 9-1 as predicted? Better? Worse? We’ll find out starting next month!
