The stage is set for an electrifying showdown as the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame prepare to face off against the Texas A&M Aggies.

The last time these two storied programs met, it was Notre Dame who emerged victorious with the 23-13 win on the road last fall. This time, however, Texas A&M is eager to repay the favor and assert its dominance in enemy territory.

According to ESPN’s FPI, Notre Dame has a 71% chance of victory against the Aggies on Saturday.

The Aggies are coming off a commanding 44-22 victory against Utah State. Marcel Reed completed 22 out of 34 passes for a total of 319 passing yards in the victory. Texas A&M’s offense appears to be firing on all cylinders heading into this matchup against Notre Dame.

Now, the Fighting Irish are looking to build momentum after a bye week following their hard-fought season opener, a nail-biting 27-24 loss to the Miami Hurricanes.

This matchup marks the 7th meeting between these two teams in history, with Notre Dame leading the all-time series at 4-2.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night. The game will be broadcast on NBC.
