The No. 8 Ole Miss Rebels will be looking to get back into the win column this weekend against No. 13 Oklahoma, while the Sooners will be looking to rack up their second straight win after their letdown against Texas a couple of weeks back.

Both squads are sitting on one loss each heading into the final stretch of the regular season, and with the way the SEC is currently shaping up, there is essentially no room for error if either squad wants a shot at making it to Atlanta come December.

ESPN analyst Bill Connelly just released his SP+ projection for this pivotal clash between the Rebels and the Sooners, and his model is predicting a close matchup out in Norman on Saturday afternoon.

SP+ is a predictive model that takes a number of statistics and historical trends, and uses them to craft power rankings for ESPN and project the outcome of any given game from week to week.

When it comes to this pressure-filled meeting between Ole Miss and Oklahoma, SP+ is projecting the Sooners to come out on top by a final score of 28-23, handing the Rebels their second straight conference loss of the season in the process.

Oklahoma is a 5-point favorite over Ole Miss on Saturday, according to the latest college football odds.

Kickoff from Norman is set for 12 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
