ESPN’s SP+ has projected the final score of Saturday’s SEC Championship Game in Atlanta between Georgia and Alabama.

The last time these 2 teams met was in the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship Game, a 33-18 Bulldogs win. In fact, the Dawgs have won their last 29 games, an SEC record. Win No. 30 will sew up the No. 1 seed in this year’s CFP.

According to Bill Connelly’s SP+, Georgia is projected to win this one by a final of 30-23.

The Bulldogs got past a pesky Georgia Tech team in Week 13 (31-23). While they extended their win streak against their in-state foes to 6 games, it was by far the closest game in that stretch. Meanwhile, Alabama engaged in another instant classic at Jordan-Hare Stadium against Auburn in the Iron Bowl, winning 27-24 thanks to a miraculous 4th-and-goal catch by Isaiah Bond from Auburn’s 31 with less than a minute to go.

This is the 4th time Georgia and Alabama have met in the SEC Championship Game, with the Tide taking all 3 previous meetings.

Kickoff from Mercedes-Benz Stadium is set for 4 p.m. ET on CBS.
