The annual meeting between the LSU Tigers and Texas A&M Aggies is finally here, and a lot is riding on this rivalry matchup for both squads as they head into the home stretch of their respective regular season schedules.
The Aggies will be looking to keep their undefeated season alive by moving to 8-0, while the Tigers will be looking to avoid another devastating SEC loss that would almost certainly knock them out of SEC Championship contention.
ESPN analyst Bill Connelly just released his SP+ projection for what the final score of this crucial late-October clash will be, and his model is predicting a 26-25 victory for the Aggies.

SP+ is a predictive model that takes various historical trends and statistics and uses them to craft power rankings for ESPN, along with projecting the outcome of any given game from week to week.
If A&M can pull out the victory, not only will they move to 8-0 for the first time since 1998, but they will also have won their first game in Death Valley since 1994 as well.
A loss for LSU, on the other hand, would dash whatever remaining playoff hopes they have left, and would turn the heat up on head Brian Kelly to a fever pitch heading into the last few games of the year.
