Ethan Barbour, 4-star 2025 TE from Georgia, names 5 SEC options in top 8

Ethan Barbour has already picked up 23 scholarship offers as a 2025 prospect more than a year away from signing to play college football. The blue-chip tight end from Georgia has decided to narrow the focus of his recruitment moving forward.
Barbour revealed his top 8 teams on Monday. As one might expect, it’s an SEC-heavy list. Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas all made the cut. He’s also considering Florida State, Ohio State and USC.

An Alpharetta (Georgia) standout, Barbour is listed as measuring 6-3, 215 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Barbour is rated 4-stars, the No. 4 tight end, No. 20 recruit in the Peach State and No. 157 prospect overall in the Class of 2025.
