Former Florida forward CJ Felder has found his new home.

After 2 seasons with the Gators, Felder will play for former LSU coach Will Wade at McNeese State.

Felder played 2 seasons at Boston College before transferring to Florida. Wade is excited about Felder’s experience in 2 power conferences to the McNeese roster.

“CJ Felder is somebody who, look, he averaged double-digits in the ACC,” Wade said, per Matthew Travis of KPLC. “You get somebody like that, that’s a good player, he played high-level basketball in the ACC and in the SEC, and produced under both of those circumstances. So I think he’s going to be a very, very good player for us.”

Felder’s most productive season came in 2020-21 at Boston College. He averaged 9.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in 19 appearances, making 17 starts.

At Florida, Felder played in 45 games. This past season, he made 15 appearances, starting the first 8 games. He averaged 2.3 points per game and 2.9 rebounds for the year.
