North Dakota State and South Dakota State are major rivals in the FCS ranks.

North Dakota State has won 8 national titles since 2011 (yes, really), while South Dakota State lost the FCS championship to Sam Houston State this past spring.

But, when you’re in a major rivalry game, you throw out the record books. As you can see below, South Dakota State, holding a 14-7 lead before halftime, ran a beautiful trick play to take a 21-7 lead. Then, they scored again later to take a 24-7 advantage into the break.

The QB lines up for a QB sneak, but the ball is snapped to the running back instead. The back then throws a jump pass to a wide-open receiver for 6 points:

South Dakota State entered the game 6-2. North Dakota State was 8-0. It’s safe to say the Bison are in trouble against the Jackrabbits moving forward.
