First of many to come: Joe Burrow gets 1st career NFL win as Bengals beat Jaguars

Joe Burrow is winless no more in the NFL.
The former LSU star and 2019 Heisman Trophy winner threw for 300 yards and a touchdown on 25-for-36 passing, despite 1 interception, as the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 33-25 at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday.
Burrow also became the first rookie in NFL history to throw for 300+ yards in three consecutive games.
The rookie signal-caller threw for 316 yards in a loss to the Browns on Sept. 17 before 312 yards at the Eagles on Sept. 27, a game that ended in a tie. One of his completions was a pretty pass right into the hands of fellow rookie and former Clemson receiver Tee Higgins, nearly 9 months after the 2 faced off each other in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game in New Orleans.

It was a great weekend all around for Tigers fans. Burrow’s successor, Myles Brennan, threw for 4 touchdowns as LSU routed Vanderbilt, 41-7, on Saturday to bounce back from a Week 1 loss to Mississippi State.
Meanwhile, Burrow and the Bengals look to make it back-to-back wins as they travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens, a 1 pm ET kickoff at M&T Bank Stadium.
