Florida adds commitment from TE out of Texas to 2022 recruiting class

Florida is off to a slow start recruiting in the 2022 cycle after replacing Dan Mullen with Billy Napier.

The Gators have some work to do to build their class ahead of National Signing Day in February, and on Sunday, they did just that.

As you can see below, 3-star 2022 TE Hayden Hansen out of Texas took to Twitter to announce his commitment to Florida:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Hansen is the No. 103 tight end in the 2022 class and the No. 230 overall recruit from the state of Texas.

The Gators now have 13 players in their 2022 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 14 in the SEC and No. 36 nationally, per 247Sports.
