Dan Mullen has hired two more recruiting staffers.
Both EK Franks and Otis Yelverton are now listed on Florida’s official website as staffers.
Franks, who previously held the Director of Recruiting position at Arkansas, was reported to be joining the UF staff by Football Scoop earlier this month. Football Scoop also reported Yelverton would be heading to Florida Tuesday.
Yelverton was most recently coaching in the JUCO ranks as the defensive coordinator at Copiah CC in Mississippi.
Mullen let go of many of Florida’s recruiting support staffers following the Dec. 20-22 early signing period. Lee Begley, who worked with Mullen at Mississippi State, was brought in as the Director of Recruiting and traveled with the coach on the flight to Gainesville in November. Drew Hughes, who served as Director of Player Personnel, recently accepted the same position at Tennessee. Yelverton and Franks both hold the title of Assistant Director of Player Personnel on the official website. Franks can be seen in the Arkansas video below.
