Stubbs is a huge pickup for the Gators in the class of 2025. He’s the No. 57 overall player and the No. 5 safety in the country for this cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also rated as the No. 8 player from the state of Florida.

He attends Mandarin High School in Jacksonville. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds.

Stubbs had been committed to Miami since July and was previously committed to Southern Cal. However, the Gators never gave up in his recruitment and are now in position to earn his signature as early as this week.

Thanks to a strong close to the 2024 season, Florida is now up to 23 commits in its 2025 recruiting class. The group sits in the top 10 of the national rankings, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Stubbs is also now the second highest-ranked member of UF’s class.
