Should Florida and Georgia move their annual rivalry? Steve Spurrier weighs in

Nobody has an appreciation for history and tradition anymore.
In recent weeks, there has been some noise around moving the annual Georgia-Florida football rivalry — called the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party — away from Jacksonville and making it a home-and-home series.
The series has been held in Jacksonville every year (with two exceptions) since 1933, and former Florida head coach Steve Spurrier would like to see it stay that way:

Since 2008, the Gators have gone on a three-game winning streak, followed by three wins in a row for the Bulldogs and now three more victories in a row for the Gators, so the series seems to be pretty evenly matched as of late.
In fact, in the all-time series, Georgia only holds a 50-43-2 advantage over their SEC East rivals.
This year’s Cocktail Party will be held in Jacksonville once again and is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 28. It will be broadcast on CBS at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time.
How long the game remains in Jacksonville has yet to be determined, but if the Head Ball Coach has his way, it’ll be there for a long, long time.
