CBS Sports analysts, including Houston Nutt, predict outcome of Florida vs. Georgia

Well, it’s finally here — it’s the Cocktail Party.
The SEC East is up for grabs Saturday in Jacksonville when the Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs hit the field. Georgia and Kirby Smart have owned Dan Mullen, but this could be the year the Gators snap the 3-game losing skid.
Florida has the high-octane offense, and Georgia’s defense is banged up right now. Combine that with some deficiencies in the passing game, there are no excuses for Mullen and company this year.
CBS Sports analysts Houston Nutt, Danny Kanell and Kevin Carter predicted the game, and it was a clean sweep in favor of Gators.
Houston Nutt: “This is going to be a good game, as it always is. I have a lot of respect for the Georgia defense, but they got some guys hurt, which sort of concerns you a bit. I think that Florida will outscore them. I think that Kyle Trask and Kyle Pitts will be a little bit too much. I’m going with the Gators”
Danny Kanell: “I think we’re sleeping on Georgia a little bit, but I agree with you, Coach. Georgia’s offense is a little bit too one-dimensional. Florida hasn’t been playing great defense, but it helps when you can load up the box and say, ‘Stetson Bennett, beat us on the outside.’ Maybe he does, but I’m not believing it until I see it. I have the Gators as well.”
Kevin Carter: “I’ve got Florida in this one as well, because I think Dan Mullen has learned his lesson. He’s going to be patient, and he’s going to weather the storm. He’s going to weather the storm with this Georgia defense. And he’s going to be patient and attack and wait for Stetson Bennett to make mistakes giving them the ball back and cutting their time of possession in half. Gators with the win.”
