Jim McElwain has major questions about his offensive line for 2015, and Florida is trying desperately to shore those concerns up as best as possible.

Another key piece was added Sunday.

The Gators landed NC State center transfer TJ McCoy, and he’s been granted a hardship waiver by the NCAA and is eligible immediately this season, according to 247Sports.

The former 2015 three-star prospect enrolled early at NC State and went through spring practice, only to transfer back to his home state of Florida.

McCoy’s dad, Tony McCoy, was a defensive tackle for the Gators from 1988-91.
