Florida names its captains for the Week 2 showdown against Kentucky

Florida is getting set for its Week 2 game against Kentucky in an early key game in the SEC East race.
The teams will meet at 7 p.m. on Saturday on ESPN, and the Gators are listed as a 6.5-point favorite.
To lead the Gators this week, the team announced that the captains will be Amari Burney, Kingsley Eguakun, Jordan Pouncey and Xzavier Henderson.
Burney, of course, was the hero of the upset over No. 7 Utah with a diving interception in the end zone to snuff outa Utes drive at the end of the game.
This game will be a chance for the Gators to prove last week wasn’t a fluke, and Kentucky is trying to continue to make the series competitive as several games in recent years could have gone toward Kentucky. The Wildcats won last year’s meeting, and the teams have split the last 4 games.
