The Florida Gators are losing some depth along their offensive line ahead of the 2018 season.
Reserve OT Andrew Mike announced Wednesday via Twitter that he would pursue a graduate transfer.
The Tuscon, Arizona, native signed with Florida in the class of 2014 as a 3-star prospect. He was rated as the nation’s No. 56 OT and the state’s No. 14 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Seeking playing time elsewhere certainly isn’t a bad idea, and decisions to transfer usually involve playing time. You certainly can’t blame him.
