Florida names Will Grier starting quarterback for Saturday’s game against ECU

Quarterback Will Grier will make his first career start on Saturday against East Carolina, the university announced.
The redshirt freshman Grier finished 16 of 18 for 166 yards and two touchdowns against New Mexico State, while the starter, Treon Harris, finished 14 of 19 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns.
Much like the opener, both quarterbacks will play Saturday against ECU. Grier and Harris both looked capable of executing McElwain’s offense against New Mexico State.
The Gators finished with one penalty and over 600 yards of total offense under the new coaching staff.
A graduate of the University of Florida and founder of Saturday Down South, Kevin is a college football enthusiast.
