Following reports of Greg Schiano to Tennessee, Vols suffer big decommitment
Immediately after Butch Jones was fired two weeks ago, Tennessee’s 2018 recruiting class began to fall apart as several recruits decommitted from the program. Typically, when a new coach is hired, the excitement and momentum peaks interest in a football program.
Speculation that Greg Schiano could be Tennessee’s next coach appears to have accomplished the opposite.
Four-star defensive back Jaycee Horn, son of former NFL receiver Joe Horn, took to Twitter Sunday to announce his decommitment from the program.

It’s worth noting that Horn is coming off a visit to South Carolina for the Clemson game and that Horn originally committed to Tennessee over the Gamecocks and Alabama. How big that visit played into his decision remains to be seen.
According to 247Sports, Horn is rated as the nation’s No. 217 overall prospect and the No. 23 cornerback. He is an Under Armour All-American for the 2018 game and made it to The Opening Finals.
