Jalen Hurts and Oklahoma defeated Texas Saturday in the Red River Rivalry. OU defeated Texas 34-27 Saturday.

Hurts has now experienced two of college football’s best rivalries: Iron Bowl and Red River Rivalry. He finished with four total touchdowns on 366 total yards of offense. The quarterback also fumbled and threw an INT in the red zone.

Following the win over Texas, Hurts was asked how the Red River Rivalry compares to the Iron Bowl:

After Saturday, Hurts may be the Heisman Trophy frontrunner.

Prior to Saturday, Hurts was asked his thoughts on Saturday’s rivalry game, and Hurts said he was fine that he had already experienced the Iron Bowl.

Texas players were also chirping at Hurts before the game.

“It’s very different. This is Texas. Texas is different. Football is more physical at Texas. The Red River Showdown is way better,” Longhorns defensive back BJ Foster said according to Anwar Richardson of Rivals.
