Former Alabama standout and ex-NFL lineman Keith McCants is in trouble with the law again.
Adding to his long list of post-NFL career problems, McCants was arrested early Monday morning in St. Petersburg, Florida, and is facing a felony charge of crack cocaine and driving with a revoked or suspended license, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Tampa Bay Times writer Greg Auman reports that McCants, 50, has now been arrested nine times since 2010, with the most recent arrest coming in January for driving with a suspended license. He was arrested in 2010 and 2011 on possession of cocaine charges.
McCants was an All-American for Alabama in 1989 before becoming a first-round pick (No. 4 overall) by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1990. Before his football career was over, McCants played for the Houston Oilers and the Arizona Cardinals following his three-year stint in Tampa.
