Former Alabama All-American A’Shawn Robinson is on the move. The veteran defensive lineman has signed with the New York Giants.
The club announced the signing of Robinson, who is entering his 8th NFL season, on Monday. Robinson heads to the Giants after spending the past 3 seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, which included a win in Super Bowl LVI.

Robinson played at Alabama from 2013-to-2015. He capped his college career by earning consensus All-American recognition while helping the Crimson Tide win the College Football Playoff national championship.
The Detroit Lions selected Robinson with the No. 46 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He spent 4 seasons with the Lions before joining the Rams in April 2020.
In his NFL career, Robinson has played in 93 regular-season games, starting 61. He has recorded 293 tackles, including 20 for loss and 7 sacks.
Robinson is coming off a 2022 season in which he missed time with a torn meniscus. He played in 10 games, all starts, logging 42 tackles.
