The NFL has disciplined another play from the recent Chicago Bears – Green Bay Packers game.
Former Kentucky LB Danny Trevathan was suspended two games for an ugly hit on Packers WR Davante Adams. It was the worst incident of the game and stole the headlines, but former Alabama DB and Packers safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has also been fined for a hit during the game.
Michael David Smith with Pro Football Talk reported Clinton-Dix has been fined $24,309 for his hit on Bears WR Josh Bellamy. Officials claimed Clinton-Dix led with his shoulder to the head and neck area of Bellamy. Clinton-Dix has said he would appeal a fine.
Clinton-Dix recorded five interceptions with the Crimson Tide before being selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Packers. He was a part of two national championships at Alabama during 2011 and 2012.
