NFL suspends ex-UK LB Danny Trevathan for vicious hit against Packers
The NFL has announced the punishment for Danny Trevathan’s ugly hit against the Green Bay Packers.
The former Kentucky Wildcat LB and current Chicago Bear leveled a dirty hit against Green Bay WR Davante Adams Thursday night. The hit drew a penalty, and Adams had to leave the field on a stretcher.
It was the type of hit that the NFL will almost always discipline, and the NFL’s punishment was announced on Saturday.
Adam Schefter had the report on Twitter:
Bears LB Danny Trevathan suspended two games for violating NFL player safety rules.
