Former Alabama DB Jared Mayden has been signed to the Buffalo Bills’ practice squad, the team announced Monday.

This is Mayden’s 3rd team since coming into the league in 2020 as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers. He played in 2 games for the 49ers that year after being elevated from the practice squad and eventually signed a reserve/future contract with them in January 2021.

After his release in October 2021, Mayden joined the practice squad of the Philadelphia Eagles, later signing a reserve/future contract. On September 20, the Eagles released him.

He was on the Alabama roster from 2016-2019. As a senior, he made 59 tackles, 5th on the team, and a team-high 4 interceptions, along with 3 pass deflections.
