Damion Square will be on the Cincinnati Bengals’ active roster for Sunday’s AFC Championship clash with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bengals announced the move Saturday.

Square has been busy this season. After spending the last 6 years with the Chargers franchise, Square signed with the Cleveland Browns in May 2021. The Browns terminated Square’s contract on Aug. 19. On Aug. 27, he signed with the New Orleans Saints but was released 4 days later. Square signed to the Chicago Bears practice squad on Sep. 8. The Las Vegas Raiders signed Square off of the Chicago practice squad on Sep. 15. With the Raiders, Square played in 9 games, including Jan. 15’s Wild Card game. In that game against the Bengals, Square had 3 tackles, including 1 for loss.

The Bengals signed Square to their practice squad Tuesday. Cincinnati’s announcement notes that as a practice squad player, Square will revert to the practice squad after Sunday’s game.

Square, who played at Alabama from 2008-to-2012, Square signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2013.
