Ingram, 33, has not formally retired from the NFL and recently shared that he could join a team in December for a playoff run. A first-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, Ingram has played for the New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans over the past 13 seasons.
Ingram spent his first 8 seasons in New Orleans. He signed with the Baltimore Ravens ahead of the 2019 season. After 2 seasons with Baltimore, Ingram landed with Houston in 2021. During the 2021 season, Ingram was traded to New Orleans for his 2nd stint with the Saints.
A 3-time Pro Bowl selection (2014, ’17, ’19), Ingram has rushed for more than 8,000 yards in his career. In 2022, Ingram was lightly used, logging just 62 carries over 10 games (3 starts).
Ingram got his first taste of broadcasting work as an Alabama radio analyst for the Sugar Bowl.
