Former Alabama RB Kenyan Drake will reportedly be looking for a new team. NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero shares that the Las Vegas Raiders plan to release Drake.

Drake is entering his seventh NFL season. He began his career in Miami, selected by the Dolphins with the No. 73 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Drake played for Miami into his fourth season. The Dolphins traded Drake to the Arizona Cardinals on Oct. 28, 2019. In 2021, Drake signed with the Raiders.

In his one season with the Raiders, Drake made 12 appearances (2 starts), logging 63 carries for 254 yards and 2 touchdowns while adding 30 catches for 291 yards and a TD.

The Raiders depth chart shows Josh Jacobs as RB1 with Brandon Bolden and Zamir White both listed as second-string. Drake was listed as third-string, along with Brittain Brown.

Drake has played in 89 games over his NFL career, making 39 starts. As a pro, he has logged 758 carries for 3,384 yards and 29 touchdowns, along with 199 receptions for 1,535 yards and 7 TDs in regular-season action.

We’ll see what’s next for Drake.
