“It’s a great day to be a Hornet,” Williams said in a release. “I am extremely excited to become part of the family, and I am looking forward to the challenge. Go Hornets!”
ASU plays in the SWAC and went 8-24 last season. The Hornets haven’t made the NCAA Tournament since 2011, when they were a 16 seed and lost in the First Four in Dayton.
