Brown, out of Wayne High School, is from Dayton, Ohio. He was rated 4-stars, the No. 12 Ohio recruit, No. 13 tight end and No. 299 prospect overall nationally in the 2022 recruiting class on the 247Sports Composite. Brown picked up scholarship offers from Alabama and 18 other schools, including Auburn, Kentucky and LSU, during his recruitment.
Brown did not record any playing time with the Crimson Tide in 2022, taking a redshirt for his freshman season. His entry into the transfer portal was reported on April 17, days after the undergraduate window opened.
Brown was the last uncommitted transfer from Alabama’s 2022 squad. He was the only former Crimson Tide player to transfer to a team outside the Power 5.
