Former Alabama and Texas tight end Amari Niblack has reportedly found a new home in the SEC.

Matt Zenitz of 247Sports/CBS Sports reports that Niblack is expected to transfer to Texas A&M.

Niblack has played in 30 games over 3 seasons. He has 1 full season of eligibility remaining, as well as an available redshirt in case of an extended absence.

After 2 seasons at Alabama, Niblack transferred to Texas ahead of the 2024 campaign. His time in Austin did not go as planned. Niblack had just 5 catches for 33 yards in his junior season, appearing in 9 games. Niblack’s only multi-catch contest was at Vanderbilt when he logged 2 receptions for 22 yards.

Niblack is hoping to get back to his sophomore levels of production. In 2023, his last season at Alabama, Niblack recorded 20 catches for 327 yards and 4 touchdowns as a sophomore playing in 14 games.

As a freshman, Niblack played in 7 games for the Crimson Tide. He logged 1 catch, a 15-yard touchdown.
