Former Arkansas QB Austin Allen signs free agent deal with Tampa Bay

One of the bigger surprises of the NFL Draft was that LSU QB Danny Etling was drafted by the New England Patriots, while former Arkansas QB Austin Allen wasn’t drafted at all.
Allen, however, signed a free agent deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following the draft, the school announced via Twitter.
The Fayetteville, Arkansas, native threw for over 5,000 yards, 36 TDs and 21 INTs during his four-year career. Hopefully, Tampa Bay’s OL can protect him better than Arkansas’ did; Allen took some shots under center for the Hogs.
