Former Arkansas QB, SEC analyst Clint Stoerner takes controversial stance on Cam Newton comments

Former Arkansas quarterback Clint Stoerner, who has worked for the SEC Network, but is currently a “media free agent,” took issue with the reaction to former Auburn quarterback Cam Newton’s comments to a female reporter this week.
Stoerner tweeted about the media’s response to Newton’s comments about a question about a receiver’s routes.
“It’s funny to hear a female talk about routes like, it’s funny,” Newton said.
But Stoerner didn’t appear to have all the facts in the case, as evidenced in the tweets below that a Dannon spokesperson said the agreement is not “terminated” but would no longer work with him or have Newton in advertising.
For a guy who used to work in the media as recently as this year, it’s an interesting take to side against the media on this topic.
Cam comments, media runs with it & dude loses significant $..crying ass shame media has that power & is so careless with it!

As I suspected. Still paying him, just not using him. Like Commissioner Exempt list for endorsers. https://t.co/JDeoOvljuD
