Former Auburn WR Ricardo Louis waived by Browns

Ricardo Louis is looking for a new NFL home.

The Cleveland Browns announced that they have waived Louis after three career seasons. The Miami, Florida, native spent last season on injured reserve with a neck injury. In two seasons, Louis has recorded 45 catches for 562 yards and no TDs. His best season came in 2017 after he caught 27 passes for 357 yards.

Louis was drafted by the Browns in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

In four career seasons at Auburn, Louis posted 98 receptions for 1,338 yards and eight TDs. Louis’ Hail Mary TD catch against Georgia will forever be remembered.

Cleveland has upgraded its wide roster since Louis last played having drafted Antonio Callaway and signed both Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham.
