You have to hand it to JaJuan Seider, he’s leaving Gainesville in a classy manner.

The former Florida running backs coach was shifted to tight ends coach by Dan Mullen for a short time before Seider left the program to coach running backs at Penn State. While the fit may have been wrong under Mullen, Seider made it clear Thursday that he and his family were appreciative of all the love and support they received during their year in Gainesville.

Seider posted this note Thursday evening on Twitter, thanking Gator Nation for a fun year

To make up for the departure of Seider, Mullen hired former Tennessee offensive coordinator Larry Scott to coach the Gator tight ends. Scott has a strong history of coaching in the Sunshine State, working at both Miami and USF. He’s coached tight ends at both schools and even had a winning record as the Hurricane interim coach after Al Golden was fired.
