Former Florida WR Freddie Swain is looking for a new NFL opportunity.

Swain was waived with an injury designation on Sunday by the Miami Dolphins. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald notes that Swain is dealing with a hamstring issue.

Swain played at Florida from 2016-to-2019. He was selected No. 214 overall by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

In his 2 seasons with the Seahawks, Swain played in 33 games, making 9 starts. He logged his most playing time and production in the 2021 season. Over 17 games, 8 starts, Swain caught 25 passes for 343 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The Seahawks released Swain as part of their training camp roster cuts last year. He was signed by Miami to the practice squad. The Dolphins elevated Swain to the active roster for 1 game in 2022.

The Denver Broncos signed Swain to their active roster on Dec. 13, 2022. He was waived by the club in March, returning to Miami for a second stint with the Dolphins.
