Former Georgia CB Eric Stokes was taken by the Green Bay Packers with the No. 29 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. His rookie contract is worth just under $12 million, with a signing bonus of more than $6 million, according to Spotrac.

Stokes is already putting his newfound wealth to good use, according to a video he posted on Instagram this week.

As you can see below, Stokes surprised his grandma with a new house:

A post shared by Eric Stokes Jr (@jamaneee)

“Since I’ve been 14 years old I promised my grandma id get her out of the projects, where she’s lived for over 30 years, and into her dream home. Words can’t describe how good it feels to finally check this off the list!! Forever luv grandma,” Stokes wrote in the caption to the video.

That’s a wonderful gesture from Stokes, who has changed his grandma’s life. Now, we’ll see how he fares as a rookie in Green Bay this fall.
