The Cleveland Browns play the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Day.
But, before the game on Saturday afternoon, the Browns made a pair of roster moves on Christmas Eve now that more players are returning from the COVID-19 list.
As you can see below, the team waived former Georgia WR Lawrence Cager ahead of Saturday afternoon’s contest:

Cager started his college career at Miami before heading to Georgia for the 2019 season. He made 33 catches for 476 yards and 4 touchdowns that year.
He went undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft before signing with the New York Jets. He has spent the last couple of months on the Browns’ practice squad.
