Former Indiana WR Dominique Booth is set to visit Mississippi State this weekend, according to a report from 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong.
Booth missed all of the 2015 season due to injury, but played in 12 games for the Hoosiers as a true freshman in 2014. He caught eight passes for 70 yards, highlighted by a four-catch performance against Penn State.
He’s looking for a new landing spot after being granted his release from the Indiana football program.
Booth would be a welcomed addition to a Bulldogs receiving corp that lost De’Runnya Wilson a year early to the NFL Draft and has just one year remaining with current No. 1 option Fred Ross.
The former four-star recruit had offers from Alabama, Tennessee and Florida State, among others, when he came out of high school.
Nick Cole is a former print journalist with several years of experience covering the SEC. Born and raised in SEC country, he has taken in the game-day experience at all 14 stadiums.
