Former Kentucky big man Reid Travis signs first pro contract with European squad

Former Kentucky big man Reid Travis played with the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Summer League after going undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft.
However, that’s not where he’ll spend his first professional season. Instead, he’s heading to Europe to play in Germany.
As you can see below, Travis will play for medi bayreuth (that’s the preferred stylization of the name) for the 2019 season:

medi bayreuth plays in the Basketball Bundesliga and is located in Bayreuth, Germany.
Travis appeared in 32 games for the Wildcats in 2018-19, starting 28 of them. He averaged 11.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game in his one year in Lexington.
