Dominic Livingston was a 3-star defensive tackle out of Houston during the 2018 recruiting cycle, and ended up choosing to play for the LSU Tigers.

However, after one year in Baton Rouge, Livingston announced in February that he was entering the NCAA transfer portal and exploring his options.

Now, per 247Sports, Livingston has chosen a new school. Per the report, Livingston will go the JUCO route and play a season at Kilgore Junior College. He said LSU just never felt quite like the place he wanted to be:

“LSU just didn’t feel like home,” Livingston said. “I’m just trying to be at a place that I feel like it’s home.”

Livingston didn’t record any stats in 2018, keeping his redshirt season intact. Now, he’ll head off to Kilgore Junior College in Kilgore, Texas.

If he plays well, he could end up back at a Power 5 school as soon as 2020, so we’ll see what happens this year at JUCO.
