Former LSU lineman Ricky Jean Francois lands contract with Lions

Matt Patricia is surrounding himself with another familiar face as the Lions have reached a one-year deal with former New England defensive lineman Ricky Jean Francois, according to multiple reports.
Jean Francois has played all over the NFL after helping LSU achieve the highest glory in college football during his playing career by contributing to the 2007 BCS National Championship. His signing with the Lions comes just before training camp is scheduled to begin in Detroit.
His signing with the club is being reported by both Ian Rapoport of NFL Media and Adam Schefter of ESPN.
