Taylor Powell, the former backup to Drew Lock and Kelly Bryant at Missouri, has unveiled where he will be playing college football in 2021.

On Monday evening, Powell revealed that he will transfer to Troy in the Sun Belt Conference. He will have 2 years of eligibility remaining.

After a redshirt season in 2017, Powell saw action in 3 games in 2018, throwing for 134 yards on 6-of-14 passing. In 2019, he was 29-of-62 for 297 yards while throwing for 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. He was called on to start that year against Georgia, registering 84 yards on 10-of-22 passing.

He graduated from Missouri in the spring, and in September announced his plans to complete his collegiate career elsewhere.

A 3-star prospect out of Fayetteville, Arkansas, he was ranked as the No. 6 player in the state in the class of 2017.
