Former Mizzou RB BJ Harris has found his new home. Harris is heading to Central Michigan to continue his college football career.

Harris announced his transfer destination Saturday on his Twitter account.

A Chattanooga, Tennessee native and former McCallie School standout, Harris committed to Missouri over 12 other scholarship offers. A 3-star prospect on the 247Sports Composite, Harris signed as part of the Tigers’ 2021 recruiting class.

Harris spent 2 seasons in Columbia. He played in 21 games during his MU career.

As a freshman, Harris made 8 appearances. He recorded 22 carries for 73 yards.

In the 2022 season, Harris played in all 13 games for the Tigers. His touches as a running back dipped to 8 carries for 32 yards and 1 touchdown. Harris’ Mizzou bio notes he was a regular contributor on special teams.

Harris entered the NCAA transfer portal in April. He has 2 full seasons of eligibility remaining and has not used a redshirt.
